Mohammad Rizwan, a 29-year-old Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman, is consistently breaking T20 Cricket records in 2021.
Mohammad Rizwan became the first player in the history of T20i cricket to receive three Player of the Series awards in a calendar year when he was awarded as Player Of the Series for his 90 runs in the recently concluded three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.
Mohammad Rizwan has scored more than 1,000 T20I runs in a calendar year, a feat never achieved in the history of T20I cricket. He has scored 1,123 runs at an average of 74.87 in 23 innings played in T20I cricket in 2021.
Mohammad Rizwan is also the highest run scorer in T20 cricket in a calendar year. He recently broke West Indies legend Chris Gayle's record for most runs in a year in T20 cricket. He has scored 1,833 runs at an average of 56.03 in 42 innings played in T20 cricket in 2021.
Mohammad Rizwan has three more matches this year to crossed the 2000-run mark in T20 cricket in a calendar year.
